RepreSENt was founded in May 2022. We now RepreSENt over 150 parents of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and neurodiversities. We live in Bath (&NES) and neighbouring authorities. We feel strongly that our children's learning needs are not able to be met by current local area provision, in both mainstream and specialist provision. This is our newly updated and developing website which shares our progress.

"My daughter is falling through the gaps. She does not qualify for special school provision in our local authority (Bath and North East Somerset) but she is working many years behind age related expectations due to her multiple learning difficulties. She cannot possibly hope to "catch up" or achieve her potential in a mainstream secondary school. The sensory overload alone is simply too much to enable her to learn in a mainstream classroom environment. Plus there is very limited specialist teaching for children with dyslexia, ADHD, Autism etc. in mainstream schools. We need a radical new approach for these children."
